Manchester’s gods of rap & bass Virus Syndicate are back with vengeance on Bad Medic Records in 2025 for Active, an 140 dubstep EP that serves as a benchmark for the genre.

Chronologising singles that have seen DJ support from Skrillex, Sicara and Ternion Sound - uploads on UKF’s legendary dubstep channel, Top 10s on Beatport, and viral videos on Tik Tok and Instagram, they come together to create a monstrous maelstrom of swagger.

Led by the title track, the pair’s hefty hooks, infectious and infinitely confident flow is paired with ice cold beats, dangerous drops and savage synths that slap you around the chops.
